The Register is reporting that a Tablet PC that was stolen from a computer shop has been recovered using tracking information. Once the stolen Tablet connected to the Net, a tamper resistant agent on the hard drive logged the IP address and sent the information the security firms servers. Police then obtained a phone number and address through AOL and an arrest was made. Portable computers that cry ‘Help’?
