William Sjostrom points to an article in the Guardian by David Aaronovitch. In the article, Aaronovitch brings up an article from the New Statesman in January written by Jack Jameson.
Jack Jameson apparently wrote it as an “allegorical story” and not a factual story. Hmm. It seems that Peter Wilby is not happy at all – I can see why.
I guess as someone who knows Peter personally, albeit for a 5 week stint as an intern at the New Statesman, I should say that you could never meet a more diligent, intelligent and outright gentleman as Peter Wilby.
William’s point is well made I guess.
