Today is the « My Band » video Premiere. The song will be on D12’s (impatiently awaited ) next album « Halloween ».

« My Band » is one of the new D12 track you can listen to on D12world.com. It is hilarous from the beginning to the end.
Eminem starts joking about his « leader status » of the D12 group. Eminem makes fun of a specific category of girls : the kind of girls who are not even interested in his music and who don’t even know the name of his group members. So many times, he gets approached by girls out of lust. Some girls would do anything just to have sex with him.
The text is written in a funny way and the way Eminem jokes about the jealousy of the other members creates a comical effect.
Swifty fights with Eminem to get the mic. Kuniva and Kon Artis argue that Eminem always sounds best. Bizarre intends to leave the group and start a solo career in the song. A very funny Salsa song made by Eminem ends the song.

Swifty’s statements which are supposed to be made out of anger and jealousy, but they refer to a real problem : many girls are just focused on Eminem, his pretty face, his superstardom. They are physically attracted to him and they like his glory and his fame. Their interest for the music he produces is very little. They are, in fact, unable to make any difference between the other D12 members. They’d easily confuse Kon Artis with Swifty and they don’t see their value as a solo artist.
