You may have already come across it by now but I am pleased to announce – after the Herculean efforts of one John Handelaar – that the Irish version of TheyWorkForYou.com, Kildare Street, is now open for business in beta form.
I hope you all find it very useful, as I will.

Isn’t this a bit reinventing the wheel? What does KildareStreet.com provide that isn’t already available at sites like gov.ie and oireachtas.ie?
Gerard
Look at the candidates statistical profiles for one example. There is a lot of collated information there that you can’t get from Gov.ie or Oireachtas.ie.
It’s automatically updated also and supplies RSS or email options to keep constituents updated every time their TD speaks. It’s been long needed in my opinion… oireachtas.ie and gov.ie are nightmares to navigate.
[…] play to Gavin. The irish version of they work for you – in beta – is now live at Kildarestreet.com. Pop over to […]
Gerard – have you ever tried to find something in the Oireachtas debates archive? Obviously not! Not to mention advanced interweb tasks like linking and tabulating data.
